September 2022: mr. Bijl-Beck provides classroom lessons at the Rotterdam People's University

On Monday evening, Mr. Bijl-Beck of Du-Talk S'dam will teach the A0-A2 course in class part 2 at the Heemraadsingel in Rotterdam for the Rotterdam People's University.

February 2022: start with Dutch for Turkish speakers and Turkish

Du-Talk S'dam will start a new course from February 1, 2022: Dutch for Turkish speakers and Turkish. This can be done through private lessons or in a group. The lessons are provided by Mr. Y. Babayigit. He will be happy to discuss your wishes and our options with you.

August 2021: start with Swedish for beginners

Du-Talk S'dam offers a new course since the end of August 2021: Swedish for beginners. If you come to Sweden a lot or if you are going to emigrate there, knock on Du-Talk S'dam for help. May 2021: Collaboration with People's University Rotterdam

Since May 2021, Du-Talk S'dam has a collaboration contract with the Rotterdam People's University, located at Heemraads-singel 275-277, 3023 BE Rotterdam. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Mr. Bijl-Beck of Du-Talk S'dam provides intensive courses B1-B2 online and A2-B1 online for the Rotterdam People's University. The lessons on Tuesday are from 6:45 pm to 9:45 pm and we work with the book De Finale van Boom Uitgeverij and with the book Better Dutch - the Floor. This is a group of 8 students from various countries, namely Brazil, Germany, Hungary, Iran, Ukraine, Russia, Czech Republic and Turkey. In 16 online lessons of 3 hours each, we work from both methods mentioned above.

The lessons on Thursday are also from 18:45-21:45 and use is made of the book De Sprong. This group consists of 12 students from Canada, China, France, Iran, Italy, Mexico, Poland and Turkey. In 16 meetings of 3 hours we work through the book De Sprong.

The combined text and workbook consists of 9 chapters and online practice material. De Sprong prepares for the State Exam I. De Sprong is the second part of the tailor-made NT2 learning track that leads to CEFR level B2. De Leap is followed by De finale (B1 > B2) and preceded by De opmaat (0 > A2). The learning track prepares you for the State Exam I and II and is also suitable for students abroad.

The book De Finale is a monolingual NT2 method for both self-study and classroom use. Exam tips for the State Exam NT2 II are also given.

The combined text and workbook consists of 8 chapters with authentic material and online practice material. The Final prepares for the State Exam II. The Final is the third part of the customized NT2 learning track that leads to CEFR level B2. The final is preceded by De Opmaat (0 > A2) and De Sprong (A2 > B1). The learning track prepares for State Exams I and II and is also suitable for students abroad.

Beter Nederlands is a series of exercise books that explain specific grammatical problems. Better Dutch - An introduction deals with grammar from level A2. Better Dutch - The floor offers more depth from level B1. Beter Nederlands - The in-depth is the revised edition of Beter Nederlands 1 and Beter Nederlands 2. The theory and the answers to the exercises from the book were previously in the book and have been moved to the corresponding website in this new edition. In addition, the examples in the book have been adapted where necessary. Beter Nederlands deals with grammar for students from level B1 within the European Framework of Reference. The book is suitable for non-native speakers who have had at least a few years of secondary education.

Dutch to perfection is for the level B2-C1.

Du-Talk S'dam expands network

Du-Talk S'dam is working hard to expand its network. That is why we are also present at the Netwerkborrel in Café Babbels once every two months. This cafe is located opposite the above building by the architect Dudok. Du-Talk S'dam can be found here regularly for networking drinks for Schiedam entrepreneurs. This drink is organized by Sandra Westein of Saar Business Organiser. This drink takes place every third Tuesday of the even month. So if you want to meet the owner of Du-Talk S'dam Taal & Communicatie, come to the next networking drink in Café Babbels. They are located at Gerrit Verboonstraat 23, 3111 AA Schiedam. Due to the Corona crisis, this network drink has been canceled for some time, so hopefully the next time will be in September 2021. See you then!
