Welcome
Welcome to the renewed website of Du-Talk S'dam Taal & Communicatie: the bureau for language lessons, integration according to the latest rules and communication activities for companies and institutions. As the name Du-Talk S'dam indicates, we are located in Schiedam, near Rotterdam. However, we are not limited by location, because in addition to personal lessons, we also provide them online.
LANGUAGE CLASSES SCHOOL YEAR 2022-2023
Now that the school year has started again, now is the right time to start looking at a course. Think about learning a new language or brushing up your language level a bit. This can be done very well by following a language course at Du-Talk S'dam Taal & Communicatie, both in person and online via Messenger, Microsoft Teams, Skype, WhatsApp or via Zoom. Do you have to travel abroad regularly? Even then you can go to Du-Talk S'dam for a crash course. We currently offer 15 different languages, namely:
- Arabic
- Bosnian

- Dutch for Turkish speakers

- Swedish for beginners
You can follow the language lessons both privately and professionally, both individually and in a group of up to 8 people. It is also possible to follow the lessons online by means of video lessons via Messenger, Skype, Teams, WhatsApp or Zoom. A hybrid form of lessons, so partly classroom and partly online, is also an option. It's just what you find most comfortable.
The Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian lessons are offered from Dutch or English, but you can of course also learn one of these languages from Dutch or English. These lessons are taught by a native speaker, Mr. E. Begic.
Du-Talk S'dam also offers the opportunity to learn Arabic. The Arabic lessons will be taught by Mr. F. Salim. You can also get to know him better on our Our team page.
New at Du-Talk S'dam is the possibility to follow Dutch for Turkish-speaking students. From February 1, 2022 it is possible to follow Dutch lessons for Turkish speakers. These classes are taught by Mr. Y. Babayiğit.
Also new is the possibility to learn Ukrainian or Russian. These classes are taught by Mrs. V. Kaianova. She will also provide Dutch lessons for Du-Talk.

At Du-Talk S'dam you can also learn English from Spanish or, for example, German from Portuguese.

EMBROIDERY
We can also help you draw up an Integration and Participation Plan (PIP) during the integration process. There are 3 learning routes: the Education route, the self-reliance route (Z route) and the B1 route.
Module Labor Market and Participation (MAP)
Did you have to start civic integration on January 1, 2022 or later? Your PIP will tell you whether you need to do the MAP. You do the MAP at your municipality. It is about working and looking for work in the Netherlands and consists of 2 parts:
- do a training with assignments working in practice
Language level B1 is the norm in the B1 route and the education route. B1 is a higher level than under the old law. The integrators therefore learn Dutch even better.
INTEGRATION & COMMUNICATION
Du-Talk S'dam Taal en Communicatie also offers options for integration or parts of the integration exam (reading, listening, writing, speaking, Kennis Nederlandse Maatschappij, also known as KNM and with Orientation on the Dutch Labor Market, simply called ONA).
We also provide support for communication activities. You can think of writing invitations, pieces for a newsletter, editing work, helping to set up a website or making a CV or application letter, but we can also help you with practicing a job interview in preparation for your final interview. .

ONLINE LEARNING
Since the corona crisis, online learning has taken off enormously. Students from Portugal, Colombia, Cape Verde Islands and Italy have already taken Dutch lessons at Du-Talk S'dam, but students from the Netherlands (including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Maastricht and 's-Gravensande) have the convenience of online learning via video lessons. already encountered. Also, someone from Spain had English lessons and I helped a student from Portugal with German through video lessons. I also provided Spanish lessons for a lady from the United States.
Big advantage: It does not require any travel time and after class you can immediately continue with something else.
The online lessons can be provided via Zoom, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, Skype, or via Facebook Messenger.
In addition to Dutch, the lessons can also be given from German, English, French, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese to learn a language. The aforementioned student from Portugal is taught German from Portuguese, so there is no language barrier to learn a new language.
